(S. "Rhaveryn", Lu. "Ravrien") The only large predator that lived in Luindor, this wild cat looked like a mix between a lynx and a tiger. 100-120 cm long, with a short tail and pointed ears like a lynx, it had a reddish hide with black strips, like that of the tiger. Feeding mainly on deer or small game, the animal could also attack Elven children and domestic animals like goats or ponies. It was extremely aggressive, and it moved with incredible agility on the branches of trees, from where it fell on its victims. The Elves hunted it whenever they found one in their kingdom, but they could not prevent some sneaking through the warden's watch.
