Pleased, Jasef Yuiln dispatched negotiators to ratify a deal. However, the Death's Tongue Militia had noticed this, and its leaders decided that disrupting the talks would spread further terror among the Sravs and also deprive them of a new asset. Meanwhile, DTM scientist and commander Krennel Kaan announced that he had created a eborax bomb, a device capable of spreading the eborax disease on a massive scale, and considered it a new superweapon.

Eager to try out this new device, DTM leader Sabsa Junn organized the setting up of a DTM terror cell, as it had done in Lesangel and Gresevokrad, smuggling militants and weapons into the city. The militants there also smuggled in components for two eborax bombs, and began assembling them. The attack was timed to begin with the actual talks. Meanwhile, Rapier combat bikes were also brought in under the guise of civilian vehicles.
