While the crossbows are the favoured weapons of Shades and Dark Elf civilian warriors, the handbows are the favoured weapons of Corsairs. Some Dreadlords and Masters are known to use them also. Repeater Crossbows (Eltharin: Uraithen — the Deathrain) are light crossbows wielded by the Dark Elves. They have two modes of fire, a longer ranged single shot and a shorter ranged double shot. These crossbows are the favoured weapons of Shades and Dark Elf civilian warriors(now Deathshards), but may also be seen on Dark Riders.
