Shapur (Aldegarian: File:Shapur text.png) was an ancient Aldegarian prophet and the founder of Yazdism. He is traditionally considered the author of the Daftar-e Asha, the sacred text of Yazdism. His earliest protector was Cyrus, the Shah of Kemoku. After the death of Shapur, presumably murdered by the traditional Kemokian priestly class, Cyrus used Yazdism as the ideological base for his conquests, creating the Kemokian Empire. To this day, Yazdism remains the dominant religion in Aldegar, and Shapur is considered one of the most influential Aldegarians of all time.
