It was created to be delivered to a Droid Working Facility on Kashyyyk, but was accidentally sent to the Jedi Council by mistake. There it roamed the halls, picking up data from various training Jedis in the building and storing the data in its data banks. It soon developed impressive skills and was soon trained to be a Jedi. It was considered the only astromech droid to become a Jedi.

R2-127680 was an R2 series astromech droid that was accidentally created with arms and legs. It was created to be delivered to a Droid Working Facility on Kashyyyk, but was accidentally sent to the Jedi Council by mistake. There it roamed the halls, picking up data from various training Jedis in the building and storing the data in its data banks. It soon developed impressive skills and was soon trained to be a Jedi. It was considered the only astromech droid to become a Jedi. Pretty soon, it started being sent on various missions and actually became a very powerful Jedi, which surprised most of the Republic. It soon became a Jedi Master and trained many young Jedi, who then became quite powerful. R2-127680 fought in many wars as well, its most notable possibly being the Clone Wars, were it bravely wandered past enemy lines to stop distant attackers. However it was destroyed after being shot down by a Droid Tank. It was soon rebuilt, but with less intelligence and it lost all the data it stored so it is no longer a Jedi. It now works at the Droid Working Facility on Kashyyyk it was meant to go to.
