Together, they attempted to steal the Chaos Emeralds. They came very close to succeeding, repeatedly outwitting the Island's Guardian, Knuckles with the assistance of numerous gadgets. However, their plan was eventually thwarted by Porker Lewis. She first appeared in Sonic the Comic #135. Throughout the mission, Ms Alpha was the one to give orders to her three specialist teammates, while doing very little herself. The early part of her plan involved getting a headstart on Knuckles the Echidna, but a miscalculation by her led to them confronting him early. She ordered Beta to take care of him, before asking Delta to blind Knuckles. On her orders, the guardian was then thrown from the island, although she assured him that his would sight would return in time for him to glide down to Mobius. She was soon confronted by the Guardian Robots and narrowly avoided gunfire, angrily demanding an answer from Delta. Despite the chameleon circuits protecting her, she was in a less than victorious mood and urged her team to continue working.

Her plan took the team into a tunnel where they met up with Knuckles again. After her order for Beta to tackle him failed, she turned her attentions to Gamma's shock collar, before activating a remote control that shocked Knuckles into submission. She then confessed her plans to Knuckles, making it clear that she wasn't here to steal the Chaos Emeralds. The smug lizard threatened to zap Knuckles again if he followed them, so the echidna knocked the buzzer out of her hand. While Beta and Knuckles fought, Alpha scrabbled around in the dark and found the remote. Unfortunately for her, it was destroyed by a Guardian Robot (piloted by Porker Lewis) and was forced to surrender. After this, she was taken to join the other D.R.A.T. prisoners and presumably taken to prison.
