Super Smash Bros. (series) Super Smash Bros. (Series) Super smash bros. (series)
rdfs:comment
Super Smash Bros is a series of Nintendo fighting game crossovers between several different Nintendo franchises such as Mario, The Legend of Zelda and Pokémon. Super Smash Bros. received mostly positive reviews from the media and was commercially successful, selling over 5 million copies worldwide by 2001, with 2.93 million sold in the United States and 1.97 million copies sold in Japan. The Super Smash Bros. series is a series of fighting games made by Nintendo. It currently has five installments: Super Smash Bros., Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. Brawl , and and two games: Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U. In multiplayer (Versus) mode, up to four people can play, with the specific rules of each match being predetermined by the players. There are two different types that can be chosen: Time, where the person with the most KOs at the end of the set time wins; and stock, where each person has a set amount of lives, and when it is gone, the player is eliminated. In Versus mode, there are nine playable stages: eight based on each of the starting characters (such as Peach's Castle for Mario, Planet Zebes for Samus, and Sector Z for Fox McCloud) and the unlockable Mushroom Kingdom. Super Smash Bros. is a series of fighting games published by Nintendo, featuring characters from established video games. The gameplay differs from traditional fighters for focusing on knocking opponents out of the stage instead of depleting life bars. The original Super Smash Bros., released in 1999 on the Nintendo 64, had a small budget and was originally a Japan-only release, but its domestic success led to a worldwide release. The series achieved even greater success with Super Smash Bros. Melee, released in 2001 for the Nintendo GameCube, becoming the best selling game on that system. The third installment, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, was released on Wii on January 31, 2008 in Japan, March 9, 2008 in North America, and was released in Europe on June 27, 2008. Although HAL Laboratory has The Super Smash Bros. series is a crossover combat game series made by Nintendo. The series instantly gained popularity, starting on the Nintendo 64, and three sequels were made. It is a large break from most fighting games, (such as Street Fighter) which involve making your opponent lose health and using various long and sometimes confusing commands with a joystick and buttons. Instead, the Smash Bros. series focuses on ranking up damage, which allows players to knock each other off a stage, and the commands are easier to learn, yet they are still difficult to master. The game was an instant success for Nintendo and its developer HAL, though the series wouldn't become one of Nintendo's most popular until the second entry into the series was released for the GameCube - Super Smash Bros. Melee. The third video game (for the Wii), called Super Smash Bros. Brawl, introduced a full-fledged adventure mode and two "guest" (third party) characters: Snake and Sonic. The super smash bros. series is a series which has all different nintendo characters and now sega in one game were they fight. The series has had 3 games in it.

The series is best known for featuring Nintendo characters and themes. The characters fight against each other using their own moves that they use in their own games. (e.g Kirby using inhale, Samus Aran using Screw Attack, Mega Man using his Mega Buster.) Super Smash Bros. is a series of fighting games published by Nintendo, featuring characters from established video games. Although HAL Laboratory has been the developer of the first two titles, the third game was developed by a cooperation of different developers. The game features many characters from Nintendo's most popular games, like Mario, Fox, Link, Kirby, Samus Aran and Pikachu. The original Super Smash Bros. had 12 characters, and the number rose to 25 characters in Melee and 35 in Brawl. Some characters are able to transform into different forms that have different styles of play and sets of moves. The games also feature non-playable Nintendo characters, like Ridley and Petey Piranha. In Brawl, two third party characters were added, Solid Snake and Sonic the Hedgehog. The series has been well-received by critics, with much praise given to the multiplayer mode, although its single player modes did not attain the same praise. The original received mixed reviews, however both Melee and Brawl were widely acclaimed by critics and fans alike. This game's one-player mode included one adventure mode that always followed the same series of opponents although the player could change the difficulty. Other single player modes exist such as Training and several mini-games, including "Break the Targets" and "Board the Platforms". All of these were included in the sequel, with the exception of Board the Platforms. In Versus mode, there are nine playable stages: eight based on each of the starting characters (such as Peach's Castle for Mario, Planet Zebes for Samus, and Sector Z for Fox McCloud) and the unlockable Mushroom Kingdom. The Super Smash Bros. series is a crossover combat game series made by Nintendo.
