Details: Shannon Davis seemed to have a good life with her loyal loving husband, David, but while they were out horseback riding, he suddenly came back claiming that she had been thrown from her horse and hurt. An investigation of the scene revealed something suspicious; that she happened to die from a blow to the head with a single rock in an open area. In 1993, A TV-movie, "Victim of Love: The Shannon Mohr Story" was released on the case. Results: Solved. After several years on the run, David was finally arrested by U.S. Marshals in Samoa. He was convicted of Shannon's murder and sentenced to life in prison. David Davis died in a prison hospital in 2014.
