n29:abstract
Indonesia, officially the Republic of Indonesia (Indonesian: Republik Indonesia), was a sovereign country in Southeast Asia. Situated between the Indian and Pacific Ocean, it was the largest island country, with more than thirteen thousand islands. It had an estimated population of over 262 million people and was the world's fourth most populous country as well as the most populous Muslim majority country. The world's formerly most populous island of Java contained more than half of the country's population. During the Xi'Eya invasion, the Indonesian government managed to escape the destrucion of Jakarta and take refuge in Rio de Janeiro. Even so, after the sudden destruction of Rio, all Indonesian governmental officials have been declared either dead or missing. Before its dissolution, Indonesia greatly contributed to the human resistance, sending 100% of its manpower and weaponry. Indonesian scientists and archaeologists were close to uncovering the secret of the Great Pyramids, however contact was lost with the research team on August 1st, one month after the beginning of the invasion.
