Often referred to as the "mad Perseid", Hasturi claimed that he had reached Tarn Vedra despite the fact that the planet had been removed from normal space via tesseract. Hasturi created a cryptic journal documenting his adventure however the journal was filled with what many considered to be all be it poetic but nonetheless creative, pieces of fiction.

The Andromeda attempts to retrace the Mad Perseid's steps but Beka Valentine's developing Flash addiction coupled with the need to travel through increasingly dangerous portions of space sabotage the mission.
