She was asked to assist the Hermetics due to her knowledge of Correspondence, and devised a souped-up car for Zydeco Jones to use. After the Avatar Storm began, Ganesh was injured using the car, and later was lost trying to cross the Gauntlet.

After the Avatar Storm began, Ganesh was injured using the car, and later was lost trying to cross the Gauntlet. Ganesh's craft name is a reference to the Hindu god Ganesha, who is known as the "remover of obstacles." She referred to Ozymandias Cody as a "fellow Scientist" when she first met him, but it is not clear if she actually initiated him into the Sons of Ether.
