Stern's contribution to Star Trek began in a role at Bantam Books, repackaging their line of novels. In 1985 , he was hired to work as editor on Pocket Books' Star Trek line, a role he continued in until 1992 . His first writing contribution was for DC Comics, co-writing the eighteenth issue of their second TNG volume, "Forbidden Fruit". Not long after, he wrote the audio adventure Transformations for George Takei. Ten years after his departure from Star Trek work, he was approached by then-editor Margaret Clark about contributing to the Enterprise tie-in novels. Stern would eventually write five books in this series. As well as contributing to the Mirror Universe anthology Shards and Shadows, he also wrote the Original Series novel, The Children of Kings, and was hired on by Stardock to oversee creative storytelling and lore implementation for their Elemental: War of Magic game. Dave Stern ist der Autor des Romanens Der Preis der Ehre aus der Serie Star Trek: Enterprise. Das ist sein bisher einziger auf deutsch erschienene Romane aus Star Trek. Dave Stern is an author, and former editor of the Star Trek line for Pocket Books. One of Stern's first Star Trek creations was writing Transformations, a Captain Sulu Adventures audio book released in 1994. __NOEDITSECTION__ Image:Information-silk.png|Character Template rect 0 0 20 20 Staff Template desc none Dave Stern Real Name Dave Stern Employers [[|]][[Category: Staff]], [[|]][[Category: Staff]], [[|]][[Category: Staff]], [[|]][[Category: Staff]], [[|]][[Category: Staff]], [[|]][[Category: Staff]], [[|]][[Category: Staff]], [[|]][[Category: Staff]], [[|]][[Category: Staff]], [[|]][[Category: Staff]], [[|]][[Category: Staff]], [[|]][[Category: Staff]], [[|]][[Category: Staff]], [[|]][[Category: Staff]], [[|]][[Category: Staff]], [[|]][[Category: Staff]], [[|]][[Category: Staff]], [[|]][[Category: Staff]], [[|]][[Category: Staff]], [[|]][[Category: Staff]], [[|]][[Category: Staff]], [[|]][[Category: Staff]] , [[|]][[Category: Staff]] , [[|]][[Category: Staff]] , [[|]][[Category: Staff]] , [[|]][[Category: Staff]] , [[|]][[Category: Staff]] , [[|]][[Category: Staff]] , [[|]][[Category: Staff]] , [[|]][[Category: Staff]] , [[|]][[Category: Staff]] Job Titles Writer Gender First publication Unknown
