In 456 HE while Third Company was in Haresfield to investigate the brutal attack on the small village, as well as bring the criminals to justice, he mistakes Keladry of Mindelan for a thief. She was told that Raoul of Goldenlake, the Knight-Commander of the King's Own, wanted a wine service that could be found in those bags. The packs turned out to belong to Flyndan Whiteford, the Captain of Third Company. This was a trick played on her by Lerant of Eldorne. Noack was sent away by Sergeant Osbern, who recognized Kel.
