Military Ranks Military ranks
rdfs:comment
Military ranks are a system of hierarchical relationships in armed forces, police, intelligence agencies or other institutions organised along military lines. Within the armed forces present in the world of Kiseki, the use of ranks is almost universal. The column equivalent represents the rank of each position on the NATO standard rank scale, which are split in officer ranks (OF10-1), other ranks (OR10-1) and warrant officers (WO5-1). The following are rank insignia for the State Military of Amestris which appear on the shoulder marks of the uniforms. In the game, there are several military ranks to climb in both The Kingdoms and The Dark Knights. As opposed to profession ranks, which are earned by gaining expierience, military ranks are earned either by gaining faction points or performing specific tasks for your faction. Neutral factions also have military ranks, albeit not as formal and based more numerically than skillfully. Each rank is as follows: unknown race/empire... Supreme Commander Generalissimo Grand General Marshal General General Brigadier Colonel Commander Captain Lieutenant Sergeant Corporal Private Supreme Commander Generalissimo Grand Admiral High Admiral Admiral Vice-Admiral Commadore Captain Commander Lieutenant Sergeant Corporal Seaman The following rankings were used throughout post-Titan history in the known universe.
