All Kai Weapons grant normally a CS+5 bonus. Another bonus is granted under special conditions. The two bonuses stated in the books are not cumulative; the bonuses stated in the table below are cumulative, instead. Kai weapons can be divided in three sub-groups, according to their unique properties. * Time-space properties: Sunstrike is stronger in daylight, Kaistar is stronger at night; if you cannot determine whether it's day or night, you're probably underground, where Illuminatus is stronger. At dawn and at sunset neither sword is stronger. * Elemental properties: four weapons react to the four Aristothelic elements fire, air, water and earth. * Magic properties: the last three weapons grant a bonus against specific enemies, i.e. reptilians, undead and magical creatures.
