The Battle of Diamond also called the Battle of the Diamond Point Shipyards was among the final battles fought towards the end of the Human-Covenant War, between the United Nations Space Command and the Covenant and was one of the last Covenant victories prior the Battle of Earth and the Great Schism. The battle was primarily fought around the orbital shipyard facility known as the Diamond Point Shipyards above Diamond in the Delta Pavonis System. The battle was short lived one lasting only one day with most of the fighting occurring within the first hour of the battle.
