Kingsroad
rdfs:comment
The Kingsroad is a long road which goes from King's Landing in the south to Castle Black in the north, passing by the Trident, Moat Cailin, and Winterfell on the way. North of Winterfell it passes through the wolfswood. It crosses The Neck on a narrow causeway. Its main section is between King's Landing and the Neck and sustains numerous inns and villages along its length. The Kingsroad is possibly the most well-traveled road in all of Westeros. It leads from King's Landing to the Wall. It has appeared in nearly every book so far in the series, and has been instrumental in the travels of many POV characters. The Inn at the Crossroads, in the Riverlands, is a popular stop for travelers on the road. It continues south past King's Landing until it terminates at the great castle of Storm's End, the ruling seat of the Stormlands.
