The original cast included Maria Ylipää as Elphaba and Anna-Maija Tuokko as Glinda. Other cast members were Ursula Salo as Madame Morrible, Eero Saarinen as The Wizard, Tuukka Leppänen as Fiyero, Antti Lang as Boq, and Vuokko Hovatta as Nessarose. The storyline had been slightly altered while the costumes and settings had been changed extensivly. In this production, Fiyero had the tribal markings as mentioned in the book. Notably, Dorothy had a larger part and was played by a live actor, Saara Aalto, also known as the Finnish voice of Anna in Frozen. She could been seen skipping away from the No One Mourns the Wicked scene with Nessarose's ruby shoes. Doctor Dillamond also taught Life Sciences like the book instead of History like the original musical. He used a board similar to an electric one. The Finnish version also included a kiss between Elphaba and Glinda in the final show.
