Mouth of Sauron
rdfs:comment
The Mouth of Sauron was traditionally the highest mortal servant of the Nameless.Every decade Sauron chose a mortal who sacrificed his own voice to Sauron, so the dark lord could use it to utter his will. The Mouth was Sauron's lieutenant and High-Priest and his ambassador and voice to his lesser subjects. The Mouth of Sauron was a living man, the ambassador and messenger of Sauron, the Lieutenant of the Dark Tower of Barad-dûr in Middle-earth and one of the most devoted and dark servants of Sauron at the time of the War of the Ring. His true name had been forgotten, even by himself. Level 1: Mount/Dismount - The Mouth of Sauron mounts or dismounts his dark horse. Level 4: Morgul Sorcery (dismounted only) - The Mouth of Sauron spews forth dark magic in a small target area that deals heavy single target damage but also spreads to any other units in the target area (at the cost of power). Level 6: Dark Veil - The Mouth of Sauron coats the target friendly building in a dark mist, confusing enemy units. Enemies near the building are stricken with madness and fight against each other. The Mouth of Sauron, or the Black Lieutenant, is a supporting antagonist in the Lord of the Rings series. He is the messenger of Sauron and He was once of the Black Numerons and led Sauron's forces during the Third War. When Gandalf and Aragorn went to the Black Gate, the Mouth of Sauron gloated that they should surrender. In Peter Jackson's film trilogy, he was portrayed by Bruce Spence and voiced by Alan Howard and only appears in the extended edition of The Return of the King. The Mouth of Sauron was the lieutenant of Barad-dur, the Dark Tower, and is a hero of the Mordor faction who rides on a horse. He appears quite frequently in the Evil Campaign of The Battle for Middle-earth II as a leader of the many goblin assaults.
