This late fuelled tensions that would culminate in the First Han Civil War. Ever since the establishment of the Han National Diet, the Grand National Party has held the majority of seats in both the lower (the National Congress) and upper houses (the Senate), leading to Hani to be described as a single-party dominant state. It is the largest party within Han with over twenty million members.
