n22:abstract
Acrimea, frequently referred to as Lady Acrimea and later as General Acrimea during the Mandalorian Wars, was a Jedi Master and member of the Jedi High Council for several years until her voluntary resignation from the Council in 3,964 BBY. As one of the first supporters of Revan's crusade against the Mandalorians, Acrimea served as a Jedi General in command of large portions of the Republic fleet during the final year of the Mandalorian Wars. Though not present for the Battle of Malachor V, Acrimea followed Revan into the Unknown Regions and later returned as one of the Sith Empire's top commanders during the Jedi Civil War. She later served the same role under Darth Malak, ultimately commanding much of the Sith Fleet's failed defense of the Star Forge. Following Malak's death at Revan's hands, Acrimea fled with a sizable fleet and attempted to rally her forces by proclaiming herself the new Dark Lord of the Sith. As the Dark Lady, she attempted to complete her predecessors' goal of conquering the Republic, but was ultimately defeated by Bastila Shan and the redeemed Revan six months later aboard her flagship, the Exsanguinator, where it was discovered she had a young daughter. Defeated and her daughter captured by the Jedi, Acrimea went into hiding. She would emerge from hiding years later as a corrupting agent, attempting to turn portions of the Republic against itself. While her exact fate remained unknown for some time, she was ultimately destroyed by the Jedi.
