Gessho: Ah, I must introduce myself. My name is Gessho, and I have also arrived from the Western continent. Gessho: I am a Yagudo. Gessho: Do not be alarmed. I am merely a wandering monk who seeks to find a master in this foreign nation. Gessho: Just like you, I have entered the service of one "Naja Salaheem"... Gessho: Hoho! You plead ignorance? Gessho: In any case.

Gessho: Ah, I must introduce myself. My name is Gessho, and I have also arrived from the Western continent. Gessho: I am a Yagudo. Gessho: Do not be alarmed. I am merely a wandering monk who seeks to find a master in this foreign nation. Gessho: Just like you, I have entered the service of one "Naja Salaheem"... Gessho: I apologize for this sudden intrusion, but are you acquainted with the mercenary known as Raillefal? Gessho: Hoho! You plead ignorance? Gessho: Would you know him if I described his golden armor? Do you know him? Oh. That guy. <----- Chose this option! I was just looking for him. Do you know him? Oh. That guy. I was just looking for him. <----- Chose this option! Gessho: In any case. Gessho: I have something from him to give to you. Gessho: The Empire of Aht Urhgan and the nations of the Far East have been at war for decades... Raillefal: That is a long time to be fighting. Such a conflict would drain the resources of both sides and put considerable strain on the citizenry. Gessho: They are indeed suffering. Particularly in the Far East, this war has exacerbated several other serious matters. Raillefal: The same must be said of Aht Urhgan. Despite the size and strength of their army, they must still look to foreign shores for mercenary reinforcement for the defense of the capital. Gessho: The armies of both nations have met on the field of battle numerous times, building trenches and fortifications to stall the advance of the enemy. Now the front line can move neither forwards nor backwards. Raillefal: Trench warfare... If I were the Empress, I would want a weapon of great destructive force, or some sort of magic... Raillefal: Or even send spies to the enemy cities or main travel routes to destroy their supply lines. Raillefal: Both sides have those options, of course... Gessho: ... Raillefal: Why do you grow silent? Have I said something untoward? Gessho: No, it just is sometimes hard to believe you are a simple mercenary when such talk of strategy escapes your lips... Raillefal: Ah... You are right. I must be more careful. Raillefal: And I am not the only one, it seems. You are rather well versed in the Far Eastern predicament, considering you are meant to be a Mindartian Yagudo. Gessho: Nay, I merely repeat what I have heard. We should be focusing on--hm? Raillefal: Gessho? What is wrong? Gessho: A skulker in the shadows! Show yourself! Raillefal: Travialce!? Gessho: You know this man? Raillefal: !!! Raillefal: Pieuje. What has he told Curilla? No... Halver was the one who... Great Altana! Gessho: Is something wrong? Raillefal: Gessho... I am sorry to cut our conversation short, but I must return to San d'Oria. Gessho: It sounds serious. Gessho: Has something befallen your homeland? Raillefal: !!! Gessho: ... Raillefal: What has that to do with the likes of you? Gessho: My apologies... I have overstepped my boundaries. Raillefal: No...I had no cause to berate you so. Raillefal: This man is a knight of San d'Oria. Travialce: My name is Travialce. Please forgive my intrusion... Gessho: Hmm. You move like one trained in the Far Eastern art of the ninja. Travialce: You have a keen eye. Raillefal: Travialce will stay here for a time. Please contact him if you have need of me. Gessho: Understood. Gessho: Although we stand on different sides of the wall, we are both patriots. I am certain we shall meet again. Gessho: Let us continue our conversation anon. Raillefal: Yes...I would like that. Gessho: Farewell, Raillefal. You must not keep your countrymen waiting. Raillefal: I am in your debt. Farewell, Gessho. Gessho: And so he left for his homeland. Gessho: I imagine he would be docking in Mhaura at about this time. Gessho: That one holds himself like a king... Gessho: Before I forget, I have something for you from Travialce. Gessho: Very well, Player name. I take my leave of you here. Gessho: If your president should discover us loitering in the street, it will mean our heads! ???: ...of the four nations of Altana have gathered in Jeuno for an emergency summit. ???: And you are certain one of our mercenaries was seen there? ???: Yes, Your Magnificience. ???: You have served us well... You may go... ???: Dismissed. ???: Sir. ???: We were right to keep him/her occupied... ???: They have taken the bait, just as we expected. ???: Grand Vizier... ???: Do not underestimate these "adventurers." We must proceed with the next part of the plan... |- BGCOLOR="#FFA500" !Westerly Winds (pt.2) - Aht Urhgan Whitegate |- BGCOLOR="#FFEC8B" |Naja Salaheem: Hello, Player name. What happened to our puffed-up, over-prrretty knight-boy? Naja Salaheem: Don't tell me ya came back here without him... Naja Salaheem: What!? I rrreally hope my ears are deceivin' me! Naja Salaheem: Tell me that again? Raillefal... Went home. Is a prince. <----- Chose this option! Naja Salaheem: ... Naja Salaheem: ...Uh-huh. Naja Salaheem: How in the world could a smart-mouthed, bone-brrrained, reckless Elvaan like that... Naja Salaheem: ...be a prrrince in any way, shape, or form? Naja Salaheem: If that blockhead ever showed up on a white charger to save me like in one of those stories, I'd rather get eaten by the drragon! Raillefal... Went home. <----- Chose this option! Is a prince. Naja Salaheem: Are ya tellin' me that blockheaded knight took off without so much as a "by your leave, Miss Prrresident"!? Naja Salaheem: He's got a lotta nerve to test the patience of Naja Salaheem! Naja Salaheem: And don't think you're off the hook either! Why didn't ya go after him!? Naja Salaheem: Surely ya didn't think that a mercenary was free to do as he/she pleases, did you? And ya didn't go leaving Al Zahbi, ignorin' the fact that ya were on one of my errands, did ya? Naja Salaheem: Both you and Raillefal have signed a bindin' contrrract with me. Or had ya forgotten? Naja Salaheem: You belong to me... Naja Salaheem: Forever! Naja Salaheem: Always! Naja Salaheem: Until death! Naja Salaheem: You mercenaries are my pawns. Naja Salaheem: If ya had the free time to be gallivantin' to foreign countrrries, then ya shoulda been signin' up for a bunch of missions! Naja Salaheem: Ya shoulda been contributin' to the success of this company! Naja Salaheem: That's what's known as a "team player." Naja Salaheem: It's not too late for ya. Chase him to the end of the world if ya have to, but track down that Raillefal! Naja Salaheem: Ya know what...? Naja Salaheem: Maybe I'll just let him go. Naja Salaheem: I've had enough of his bellyachin' to last a lifetime anyway. Naja Salaheem: Come to think of it, didn't he say he was from the Middle Lands? Naja Salaheem: He seemed so intent on stickin' arrround here, I wonder why he chose to pack up and leave all of a sudden? Naja Salaheem: Oh well, at least he's outta my hair. Naja Salaheem: That's a load off of my mind. Naja Salaheem: Maybe you are a dose of good luck, Player name. Naja Salaheem: Here's an extra bonus for ya. Go on, take it! Naja Salaheem: I'm glad ya decided to walk in my door. It's okay, you can tear up a little. Naja Salaheem: Take that feelin' and burn it deep into your heart. Naja Salaheem: I'll be usin' your gratitude as an example in the next recruitin' drrrive! |}
