The Cavalier Assault Rifle, or Cavalier for short, is a rifle used by various governments as early as 22 BE. Though smaller than most assault rifles, the weapon's bullpup configuration and cartridge size grants it the accuracy and strength of larger rifles. It was most notably used by the Gears from 22 BE through 14 AE when Lancers were scarce in some areas. Though rarely done, some models had their large foregrip removed in favor of early chainsaw bayonets, blade bayonets, underslung shotguns or grenade launchers. Some have also had extended barrels, extended stocks, and telescopic sights added to the rifle.
