Sentinel Overseer
rdfs:comment
The Sentinel Overseer is a Forerunner construct whose purpose is to safeguard and maintain important facilities. Overseers themselves resemble Monitors, albeit slightly larger and with the central coloring replaced by a bright searchlight on their "eye". They are capable of thought, although are incapable of audible speech, and are attached to walls and ceilings via a large socket in which the Monitor-like eye is placed, and able to swivel about in.

n24:abstract
The Sentinel Overseer is a Forerunner construct whose purpose is to safeguard and maintain important facilities. Overseers themselves resemble Monitors, albeit slightly larger and with the central coloring replaced by a bright searchlight on their "eye". They are capable of thought, although are incapable of audible speech, and are attached to walls and ceilings via a large socket in which the Monitor-like eye is placed, and able to swivel about in. Sentinel Overseers manage security systems and automated gun emplacements in small facilities located in or on larger installations, and are under the direct supervision of Monitors. Overseers are able to make use of Sentinel Wards throughout their facilities to supplement their offensive capabilities, two of which are usually located near their sockets, and receive feeds from smaller Sentinel Watches dotted across the facilities they are tasked with maintaining. In addition they are able to control and direct local Sentinels, and add or remove targets from the Sentinels' targeting ledger, although Monitors and other such constructs are able to override these commands.
