The Aldegar Canal (Aldegarian: File:Kanal-e aldegar.png Kānāl-e Aldegār) is an artificial sea-level waterway in Aldegar, that connects the South Ocean (via the Aldegar Gulf) to the Anatonese Ocean. Aldegarian sovereignty over the canal is protected by the Aldegar Canal Security Treaty. The Canal was nationalized on June 17, 3573 by the Rastakhiz regime, all assets of the Aldegar Canal Company were frozen, and stockholders were paid the price of their shares according to the day's closing price on the Lodamun Stock Exchange.
