Bureaucrats
rdfs:comment
Where there is business there's paperwork, where there's management there's administration. The Bureaucrats are there to provide professional administration for nobles, church and other businesses. Their discretion is assured. (MotJW 103) Different users have access to different functions of the site. While anyone can do most things on the site, including reading and editing, Bureaucrats are trusted users that can access a few additional functions. * Editing the interface by changing system messages and skins (editing MediaWiki files). * Keeping Rollback rights Bureaucrats are selected on an as-needed basis only. As Valkyrie Movie Wiki grows, more bureaucrats may be needed to assist in its operation. Bureaucratic positions can be filled via requests for Bureaucratic needs. Unsuccessful * Pending * Current Bureaucrats are one level up from administrators but have none of the administrator privileges. Bureaucrats only have the ability to manipulate users rights. They have the ability to promote and revoke rollback, chat moderator, moderator and administrator rights as well as appointing new bureaucrats. While they cannot directly revoke another user's bureaucrat status, they can revoke their own. Bureaucrats also have the ability to revoke a user's bot status in case the bot is malfunctioning, but community consensus is required for the addition of users's bot status.

Different users have access to different functions of the site. While anyone can do most things on the site, including reading and editing, Bureaucrats are trusted users that can access a few additional functions. * Editing the interface by changing system messages and skins (editing MediaWiki files). * Keeping Rollback rights These functions are solely for housekeeping for keeping Wikia wikis nice and tidy. The community does look to Bureaucrats to perform the essential chores that require the extra access Bureaucrats are entrusted with. However, otherwise, Bureaucrats are the same as other users, and are expected to be well-tempered in all respects. Bureaucrats are selected on an as-needed basis only. As Valkyrie Movie Wiki grows, more bureaucrats may be needed to assist in its operation. Bureaucratic positions can be filled via requests for Bureaucratic needs. Bureaucrats should not use their administrator powers to settle editing disputes; for example, to lock a page on a version he or she prefers in an editing dispute that isn't vandalism. Bureaucratic powers should be used to help keep the wiki clear of vandalism, spam, and users who make malicious edits, but not for simple disagreements between users acting in good faith. Bureaucrats should not be considered "in charge". The ideal Bureaucrat is a regular user who is trusted to have a few extra buttons and to use them for the benefit of the Valkyrie Movie Wiki. By default, bureaucrats are not identified on their userpages. If a bureaucrat is also an admin, only "ADMIN" will show so Special:ListUsers must be used to tell bureaucrats from normal administrators.
