Quentin Finn
rdfs:comment
Quentin Finn is the third eldest brother of Ben Finn. His life is detailed in Ben Finn's autobiography, The Life and Adventures of Benjamin Finn. Quentin Finn was born the third child of the Finn family in the small hamlet referred to as Gunk. Raised by shop-keeping parents, who often struggled to buy shoes and food for their children, Quentin joined his brothers in the search for sustenance, money, and entertainment. Eventually, Quentin Finn found himself joining his brothers in their primary source of income and entertainment-pickpocketing. While Ben would tell jokes to earn money (having recognized the immorality of pickpocketing and not being any good at it), Quentin and his brothers would rob the distracted villagers blind.

n22:abstract
Because of Ben's inadvertent help in getting them their ill-gotten gains, Quentin and his brothers pooled their resources and bought their youngest brother a beautiful pellet gun on his eleventh birthday. It was not long after Ben discovered his natural talent with firearms that Quentin and his brothers put this talent to "good" use, setting up a fair booth from which they challenged all comers to pit their target practice skills against Ben's. After fleecing the locals, they soon had to rely on traders, passers-by, and the occasional neighbouring villagers, out of which more often than not they would have been run out by the authorities. Unlike Ben, Quentin didn't save any of the money he earned, utilizing it mostly on gambling. When Ben Finn reached fifteen years of age, the Hero of Bowerstone, the ruler of Albion, finally passed away. It was the death of this Hero that marked the beginning of a series of tragedies that were to befall the Finn family, first among them the death of Jason Finn at the hands of the husband of his latest sexual conquest. Shortly after his death, William Finn was arrested for trying to con a passing plain clothes town guard, who took the boy to Bowerstone and was promptly never seen again. Soon after, Quentin Finn had accumalated enough gambling debts to have a substantial price put on his head. When the assassins and bounty hunters came to collect the reward, Ben Finn did what he could to protect his elder brother. Unfortunately, while Ben's shots hit their mark, their accuracy did not change the fact that Ben was shooting peas instead of bullets, as the Finn family could never afford a real rifle.
