Mistridge
rdfs:comment
Mistridge was a prominent covenant (chantry) of the Order of Hermes for the first several centuries of that group's existence. In the winter of 1210, the chantry was attacked by the newly formed Craftmasons, whose cannons proved to be the deciding factor in the siege. A character known as "Former Tremere" (who is believed to be Grimgroth of the House Tremere), caused the chantry's defenses to fall, although it is uncertain if this was a fatal miscalculation or a deliberate betrayal. The chantry's fall to the Craftmasons would eventually come to be seen as the opening shot in the Ascension War.
