Reinhardt will warn his teammates with a voice line when the barrier's health is lower than 400. If the barrier is destroyed, there is a 5-second cooldown before it can be used again. The Barrier Field's health is displayed next to Reinhardt's health, and also above the crosshair while active. In the Game Options, Reinhardt has an option that affects his Barrier Field: * Toggle Barrier: When enabled, pressing the appropriate button will toggle the Barrier Field on and off. Otherwise, the button must be held.
