Why is some of TOR (The Onion Router) ips are blocked while some are not? All tor users shared all tor ips. Heck, I changed my ip just to avoid the block. Do your site plan to allow ALL or NONE of tor users to edit? 128.197.11.30 00:10, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

Wikiality.com really has no control over how their IPs are blocked (mostly).--WatchTVEatDonutDrinkBeer 00:51, 16 November 2007 (UTC) What do you (128.197.11.30) hope to accomplish by pointing that out? You could might as well gotten every Tor-user blocked! I know it's annoying to switch IP, but it is worth it. -- 165.21.154.117 01:24, 16 November 2007 (UTC) I find this extremely annoying as well, but there is not a lot that we can do about how Wikia controls the IP blocking. In a setting like a university, where tons of people are sharing an IP array, it does really suck if half the IPs are blocked because some jerk decided to vandalize a bunch of pages here. But for us, there is no good solution for stopping someone from just continually creating new accounts except IP blocking. It might be worthwhile for us to talk about our administrative policy in terms of setting a time limit on IP blocks, though. Thanks for bringing this up. --thisniss 16:16, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
