He is a well respected and Shinigami. Zero is feared to the point of strong shinigami's like Zancrow Kyuketsuki and Hibiki Tsukiyo, he is also the self proclaimed peacekeeper from Zancrow's and Hibiki's organization having a war. Zero is rarely seen anywhere as he is very secretive, he is usually in his organizations headquarters overwatching Hibiki's attempts trying to find Zancrow. Being the head of a infamous organization, he has a huge bounty over his head though many bounty hunters fear him. Although he is a wanted man, many powerful shinigami's even captains in the Gotei 13 respect him for his strength. Prior to him founding the Society of Darkness he was a shinigami who was in the records for amazing feats he had done although now no records can be found. He was a former student of the Shinō Academy, a near-perfect shinigami who was once aligned with Soul Society. He left them for unknown reasons, all records of Zero were destroyed and Zero had suddenly disappeared off of their records. A few weeks after leaving Soul Society, he set out on a long journey to find 15 of the strongest shinigami's, arrancars and quincies to form together, to create a group which could enforce the law and keep peace. In the Human world he gathers exiled or old shinigami's to help be trainers in his organization, after this period he had eventually gathered a huge powerful force made up of a mixture of races. Once the group had been completed he set about completing his goal of keeping peace, while doing this he learnt of Zancrow's and Hibiki's plan to declare war on each other, learning of this he decided to intervene.
