The Apostolic Church of America is a christian denomination founded in the 1940s from a schism in the catholic church over the view taken by Father Coughlin, and his supporters. While retaining much of the rituals and theology of the Roman Catholic Church, it has a definite US nationalistic slant and officialy oppose both capitalism and communism. The Church is rules by a synod of bishop headed by an archbishop. The first such one was Father Coughlin, elected unnanimously.
