rdfs:comment
The Kressari were a spacefaring humanoid species. They were primarily known for their commercial trade of botanical DNA. Although a politically neutral race with no standing military, elements within the Cardassian Central Command employed Kressari as intermediaries in 2370 to secretly supply the Bajoran insurgence group known as the Alliance for Global Unity (or "the Circle"), so that they would force the Federation from Bajor and allow the Cardassians to reclaim the planet. Since their skin is not as flexible as most other humanoids, Kressari express emotional states through changes in the colors of the irises of their eyes. These colours include black, white, blue, violet and vermillion, with each colour denoting a different emotional state. The colours can also combine, with one surrounding another in concentric rings, to express more complex emotions. (DS9: )

These colours include black, white, blue, violet and vermillion, with each colour denoting a different emotional state. The colours can also combine, with one surrounding another in concentric rings, to express more complex emotions. (DS9 novels: Fearful Symmetry, The Soul Key) The Kressari were a spacefaring humanoid species. Constable Odo of Deep Space 9 was able to infiltrate the Kressari freighter Calondon and obtain proof that the Cardassians were behind the weapons shipments, thus discrediting the Circle. (DS9: "The Circle") Beginning in 2370, Kressari were also frequently seen on the Promenade of space station Deep Space 9 and in Quark's. (DS9: "Necessary Evil") According to Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 47) and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"),, there was a star system named Kressari, which might possibly be the system of origin for this species, in the Alpha Quadrant. This was a binary system with a pair of K-class stars. In the late 24th century, this was an independent system. According to StarTrek.com, the Kressari were from a homeworld and/or a system with a primary named Kressari. thumb|Zef'No, ein Kressari Die Kressari sind eine humanoide Spezies deren Heimatplanet sich im Kalandra-Sektor befindet.
