Dark Quad
rdfs:comment
Dark Quads are corrupted Quad robots, possessed by the Ing. They, like their Aether counterparts, are made up of two parts: the flying Command Module and the four-legged Main Body, and these are scannable in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes as two different creatures. Samus can blast off their heads with the Light Beam, then deactivate the body with the Boost Ball, or disable the body first and attack the head as it floats around on its own. The dominant Darkling resides in the Command Module, and therefore forces the lesser Ing in the Main Body to do its bidding. The Ing used these robots as guards in the Ing Hive.

Quadraxis could produce Dark Quads during battle to aid it in the Hive Temple.
