Beran
rdfs:comment
Beran is an enemy boss character in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. He is the boss of Chapter 10 in Ephraim's route, replacing Selena. After sending Selena back to Grado Keep, Valter entrusts Beran to hold the town against Ephraim. Valter seems to trust Beran, unlike the relationship between Caellach and Aias, where Caellach planned to kill Aias anyway. He is the Ranger class, and can be a formidable foe if one could get past his army in time. If the player defeats him, he dies and the chapter is cleared. If the turns expire, he sails away in cowardice and is never seen again. It is likely that Valter kills Beran, as suggested by a conversation between Beran and a soldier in his command after the ten turns are over. Beran is a city in southeastern Torland in Dragon Quest II. It is the only gateway for traveling to Rhone.
