rdfs:comment

It is beyond the spheres of influence of any major Alpha or Beta Quadrant power and lies within neutral space, although it is closest to Romulan space. It is named for Pavel Cerenkov, a Russian physicist of old Earth. The USS Hyperion was assigned to study and catalogue the nebula in early 2390.
