She was caught in the sails of one of Doc's flying machines over the Amazon River and tried to eat Doc's head. Soon after, she formed a friendship with Zak and now uses the cliffs where the Saturdays live as her new hunting grounds. Zak named her Zon because she was found in the Amazon Rainforest. Unafraid of humans, she allows Zak to comb her mane and ride her, sometimes using a special harness that allows Zak to ride under her much like a hang glider pilot. But she absolutely resists the family's domestication efforts and refuses to give up the great outdoors. She appears to dislike Komodo and is incorrectly referred to as a Pteranodon. Zon is shown to be very obedient and not aggressive, the complete opposite of Komodo. Her diet consists of crustaceans and fish (seafood). Zon is a planet in the Lost in Space universe. its where the Zonians come from. A notable Zon was named Magazor and Megazor’s home planet was Zon rather than one of the Zonian Colonies. The candidates for the leadership of their civilization proved their ability by achieving a certain score by hunting other species (“Hunter’s Moon”). In "Agatha Heterodyne and the Electric Coffin", Zon is one of a gang of abandoned constructs going from village to village, carrying out frauds. They would then evade pursuit through the apparent death, and subsequent surreptitious revival, of the member of the gang carrying out their fraud in any given village. Despite their general success at running the con, he and his comrades Torsti Lechwa, Luilla and Garon, were starting to show strong signs of lack of proper maintenance. Zon is a cryptid that, due to Zak's rule that every member of the family is a "Saturday", acts as Zak, Fiskerton, and Komodo's sister. Likewise, she is the "daughter" of Doc and Drew and the "niece" of Doyle. Zon was a fruit bat guard who is a friend of Elvere. Zon was a smale Rattataki miner living during the Galactic War. In 3632 BBY he was part of the mining group working on Ilum for the Minos-Mestra Corporation, who secured the minings rights from both Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. After the miners accidentially desecrated a burial cite of Xivhkalrainik's father, his son, Sith Lord Xalek began attacking their mining camps, slaughtering everyone and leaving no survivors. When Zon lost contact with Shaft 12, help arrived in form of the Alliance commander, who set to track down the murdered.
