Gziri language
rdfs:comment
The Gziri language (Gżiri) is the most widely spoken second language in Cildania and the nation's sole official language. Gziri emerged around the second half of the 40th century as a local Cildanian dialect of the Majatran language, with substantial Selucian influence, and with a Qildari and Hebilean substratum. The language quickly became the lingua franca of Cildania, partly due to the decline in Qildari fluency, the fragmentation of the Hebilean languages, and the emergence of a bilingual Majatran-Selucian elite in the aftermath of the Cildanian Civil War. Gziri is a young language, and it was officially recognized as a distinct language in 3992.
