This put a strain on their relationship, and on Maello, Sr.'s plans to have Maello, Jr. live on his legacy. Eventually, Maello Sr. decided to lock up Maello Jr. in his lab. Angered by this, Maello Jr. adopted the name Manoctrio and escaped. They never saw each other again for years, and Manoctrio eventually joined the army.

They reunited years later, and their relationship improved. Manoctrio changed his name to Madrio, for the "DR" abbreviation in the middle of his name, and while Madrio still doesn't want to be a doctor (or at least a civilian doctor), they have become good friends.
