This page borrows properties from the Character Adoption page. It allows people to place their characters under the category in order to find them a romantic intrest. This can be done in two ways. Two users can agree on a couple together, or one user can offer to make another user a romantic intrest. Alos there will be a couple theme finder which places songs into specific categories for certain couples (more songs may be added). A matchmaker was somebody who conspired to bring people together romantically. In 2371, Kasidy Yates attributed Jake Sisko's speaking to his father often about her to Jake's trying to be a matchmaker. (DS9: "Family Business") In 2372, when Jake suggested the couple spend three days in the Bajoran outback without him, saying he thought they'd have a better time without him, Benjamin told him to stop matchmaking. Jake clarified that he actually wanted to spend more time on his writing. (DS9: "The Muse") Barney and Ted visit a matchmaker who tries to find Ted the perfect woman. Marshall and Lily find a strange creature in the apartment. Matchmaker (also known as The Mixer) is a recurring Reward Challenge. The game is similar to Concentration, in that it requires memory, but introduces the additional element of information management in interactions with the opposite tribe. The Matchmaker then reappears in Mulan 2, alerting Yao, Chien-Po, and Ling that they need personalities before they return. SPIEL #1 "CONTESTANT: Hi/Hello, my name is (insert name) and I'm looking for a man/woman to (insert quip)." ANNOUNCER: "Three handsome men, three beautiful women. Romance in their hearts and adventure on their minds. But, only two will leave here together for a romantic encounter that could lead to...well, who knows? And only one man can determine which two. Television's mad, mad, Matchmaker Dave Hull!" This was a prize matching game only played in the UK version. The contestant faced a board with 16 numbered squares. Behind those squares are six matching pairs of prizes, while the remaining four were loser squares. The contestant picked a number, then a prize was revealed, then the contestant chose another number. If the second number made a match, the contestant won that prize, if not then the previously revealed prize was flipped back and then the contestant had to choose another number. The process continued until a match was made; the first prize matched was the prize won. But if the contestant matched the loser squares, the contestant lost and won nothing. Now at any point in the game, the contestant can pick a number already chosen and if that made a match, the prize was won, if no

(DS9: "Family Business") In 2372, when Jake suggested the couple spend three days in the Bajoran outback without him, saying he thought they'd have a better time without him, Benjamin told him to stop matchmaking. Jake clarified that he actually wanted to spend more time on his writing. (DS9: "The Muse") In 2375, when Tom Paris encouraged Tuvok to pursue a relationship with Noss – given that USS Voyager might not rescue Paris and Tuvok and therefore the Vulcan might never see his wife again – Tuvok rejected Tom's attempt at "play(ing) matchmaker", as he was not in pon farr. (VOY: "Gravity") This was a prize matching game only played in the UK version. Now at any point in the game, the contestant can pick a number already chosen and if that made a match, the prize was won, if not, the contestant lost. Romance in their hearts and adventure on their minds. But, only two will leave here together for a romantic encounter that could lead to...well, who knows? And only one man can determine which two. Television's mad, mad, Matchmaker Dave Hull!" SPIEL #2 "These six handsome singles all eager to meet that perfect partner, have placed their bids in the hands of one man who for twenty years on Southern California radio has used his keen instinct and rare talent to earn the title...the Matchmaker. And here he is, Dave Hull!" Matchmaker was a short-lived syndicated dating game show where six people are "matched-up" by host Dave Hull who cannot see them, but can only hear their answers to the questions that he asks them all the while his back is turned. Matchmaker (also known as The Mixer) is a recurring Reward Challenge. The game is similar to Concentration, in that it requires memory, but introduces the additional element of information management in interactions with the opposite tribe. Barney and Ted visit a matchmaker who tries to find Ted the perfect woman. Marshall and Lily find a strange creature in the apartment.
