The Mid-East Regional Contest in the United States is the regional contest that covers the states of Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia. Traditionally the contest has been held in Ohio and run by Steve Brown but in 2005 the contest was held in Indiana and run by Takeshi Kamisato, the 2006 contest was run by Steve Brown for what he claims was the last time. From 2007 on, Jake Maloney has run the contest in Michigan.
