Norman Teeling, born in Dublin in 1944, is a painter with a romantic impressionist style who prefers to paint en plein air. He graduated in Fine Art from the National College of Art and Design in 1975. From 1988 to 1994 he drew a comic strip, "Millinnicus", for The Irish Press. He has also worked as a cartoonist for The Sunday Word, and published two books of cartoons, Irish Brew and Sloth. He has also worked as a background artist in animated films.
