The Empire Day Parade was an annual event held on Coruscant, and to a lesser extent, other planets. The Galactic Empire, to celebrate it's founding, created the holiday Empire Day. The parade was a massive Imperial Armed Forces parade, with troops and vehicles taking part from each branch of the military. The primary parade was in Imperial City, Coruscant, where Emperor Palpatine gave a speech near the Imperial Palace. After his speech, the Imperial troops marched past the front of the Palace, with the Imperial Army Band playing in the background. Lesser parades were held in similar fashion by Imperial military units stationed on other planets, such as Anaxes, Carida, Bastion, Byss, and various others.
