Southern British Shorthair Cat Club

The Southern British Shorthair Cat Club was established in 1992 to represent British Shorthair Cats and British Shorthair Kittens at all levels within the Cat Fancy. The Club is affiliated to the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy (GCCF) and the Feline Advisory Bureau (FAB). With a membership of almost 400 it is probably the largest GCCF affiliated Cat Club representing British Shorthairs of all types in the United Kingdom. It has two delegates which represent the breed at GCCF Council meetings together with two representatives on the British Group Breed Advisory Council (BAC) which advises and directs the progression of the breed within the United Kingdom.
