Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies. The Steyr AUG A1 is an Austrian bull-pup 5.56mm assault rifle, designed in the early 1970s by Steyr Mannlicher GmbH & Co KG (formerly Steyr-Daimler-Puch). The Steyr AUG A1 (Armee-Universal-Gewehr—"universal army rifle") was adopted by the Austrian Army as the StG 77 (Sturmgewehr 77) in 1977, where it replaced the 7.62mm StG 58 automatic rifle (a licence-built FN FAL). A revolutionary design for its time, it is one of the first successful bullpup designs, along with being fully ambidextrous and notable for incorporating a dual-stage trigger system. Pulling the trigger halfway produces semi-automatic fire, pulling the trigger all the way produces fully automatic fire. It is fitted with a Swarovski 1.5x scope (the later A2 and A3 variants replaced the scope with a Picatinny rail). Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies. Steyr AUG A1 (known simply as AUG-A1 in some servers) is one of a stock assault rifle in CrossFire. An incredibly versatile (the barrel can be quickly removed and replaced with heavier or shorter variants), simple to use (it has no fire selector on account of its trigger, and breaks down very easily for cleaning) and reliable rifle, it is in service with multiple nations. It can be fed from proprietary 30-round or 42-round magazines. In production since 1978, it is the standard small arm of the Austrian Bundesheer and various national police units. It is used in the United States by Customs and Immigration Enforcement. The Steyr AUG is used by The Governor as his primary rifle. It is unknown how exactly he acquired this weapon. Since fully-automatic AUGs are extremely rare in the United States and are not used by military or law enforcement, it is likely meant to be a full-auto conversion of an AUG SA, a semi-automatic variant of the A1 which was imported to the US for civilian use before being banned in 1989.
