Palutena: Pit, you poor guy. You need to get some friends. Palutena: I don't think they developed their battle skills on their own. Without a doubt, they have Medusa's leadership to thank for it. Pit: YOOOOOOOW! Phew. That was close for comfort. But y...you obliterated it! Pit: Seriously, it's massive! Pit: Lemme guess--they're destructive rays?! Palutena: First things first. Try turning left, Pit. Pit: Aren't you worried at all? Pit: Whoooaaa! It's hot hot HOT here! Palutena: Ride it right into the courtyard. Palutena: Looks like this might be a dead end, though. There must be a way out... Pit: Ugh! You're killing me here! Pit: Even though I almost died, I've really enjoyed our time together. Pit: The Underworld forces really stepped up their game! Palutena: They could be anywhere. We need to stop them before they wreak even more havoc! As you search for them, take out any Underworld troops that cross your path. Claws: Move faster but with limited reach. Palutena: The door's unlocked now. The enemy with the big skull guarding the door is a Ganewmede. They'll attack when fired at, but they don't do much at all if you don't shoot them. So I suggest using melee attacks or dash shots to take them down. Palutena: Oh, I thought you might want to take in the sights. And destroy some monsters. Palutena: That's a grind rail. It's pretty fun, isn't it? Palutena: Stay alert. They could be hiding anywhere. As you search for them, take out any Underworld troops that cross your path. Palutena: Though the goddess of darkness was defeated long ago, she's back now. And as the goddess of light, it's my duty to protect humanity from her. Palutena: This ravine should take you to the Reaper fortress. But it's tight, so be careful. If you get stuck, I won't have time to get you out. Palutena: See what's coming out of Big Reaper's eyes? That's more than just its vision. Palutena: I applaud your enthusiasm, Pit, but let's return for today. Pit: Hey, Lady Palutena? Palutena: There! I'm getting you out! Pit: Why did we stop? Pit: Wh-what was that? Palutena: I suppose you could say that. Plus, when you get hit, it summons more Reapettes. That's the power of B.R. Palutena: It's gigantic! Pit: It was just us talking this time. Kinda nice! Palutena: Uh... This really doesn't look like much of a party... Medusa: What better way to celebrate my return than with a festive little bloodbath? After all, I have been gone for 25 years. Pit: Man, things are really heating up! Time to bust through here! Full speed ahead! Palutena: What's that, Pit? Pit: Whoa-ho-ho! Nice! Palutena: Yes, but those two Hewdraw heads are still alive. And there seems to be a town directly below us! Palutena: I doubt those underlings managed it on their own. It's a sure sign that Medusa is back in power. Palutena: Pit! Are you all right? Pit: No way! Pit: You know what, Lady Palutena? Orbitars: Fire two separate shots designed for ranged attacks. Pit: Lemme guess—they're death rays?! Pit: That probably means I should hit them! Palutena: All right, head for the center of the fortress. Wipe out any enemies that get in your way. Pit: Augh! Pit: The people have all gone into hiding, but where did those Hewdraw heads go? Palutena: There's no chance of getting in by air. You'll have to break right through the front. Palutena: The door's unlocked now. Palutena: At the top of the stairs, there's a door with switches across from it. Pit: Heh. "Dark lord"? Seriously? Hasn't the dark-lord thing been done to death already? Pit: Uh... No, no, no! I'm just really happy I can fly. Blade: A balanced, user-friendly weapon. Pit: Uh... Palutena: Medusa has unleashed an evil beast in the coliseum! You need to hurry there! Pit: She must be getting back at us for taking down Dark Lord Gaol. Pit: Man, things are really heating up! Time to bust out of here! Full speed ahead! Palutena: Aw, you poor guy. You really need to make some friends. Palutena: Excellent idea, Pit. Naturally, I had the same thought. Let me help. Pit: How can you make puns at a time like this?! Pit: Look at the size of that squadron! Palutena: He may not be made of the strongest moral fiber, but that's fine with me. Palutena: Try turning left, Pit. Palutena: This doesn't look like much of a party... Pit: What IS that thing? Pit: YOOOOOOOW! You could have obliterated me! Palutena: Keep it together, Pit. Pit: L-Look at that! Palutena: This looks like a dead end. There must be a way out... Hmm... Palutena: Yes. It's short for Big Reaper. Pit: ...Yeah. Pit: Whoooaaa! It's CRAZY out here! Palutena: Get through this ravine and you should reach the Reaper fortress. Palutena: That's a grind rail. It beats walking, huh? You can ride it right into the courtyard. Medusa: What better way to celebrate my return than with a festive little bloodbath? After all, I HAVE been gone for 24 years. Palutena: Down there! I'm getting you out! Palutena: Pit, there are many enemies ahead! Pit: The Underworld Army sure doesn't waste time! Pit: You sure have a lot of faith in me, Lady Palutena. Pit: No, no, no! I'm just really happy I can fly. Palutena: Medusa has brought the fight to our realm. Her forces are invading Skyworld! 250 Palutena: Ah, Pit. Boys will be boys. But, actually, I had the same idea. Let me help! Claws: Limited reach, but allows for more speed. Palutena: He may not be made of the sturdiest moral fiber, but that's fine with me. Palutena: At the top of the stairs, there's a door with switches to its left and right. Palutena: Then let's get moving. The force obscuring Pandora is deep within this fortress. Pit: How in the world would the human army make it across these mountains by foot? Palutena: It looks like this area is split into two levels. You should change levels depending on how that Big Reaper attacks. Orbitars: Shoots two shots that grow in power. Palutena: Those aren't just flirty looks coming from the Great Reaper's eyes! Palutena: In a nutshell. Plus, if you get hit, it'll summon Reapettes. That Great Reaper has quite the evil eye. Palutena: Far from it. Those two Hewdraw heads are still alive. They've plunged into the human world below and taken their legion with them! Pit: B.R.? Palutena: That Great Reaper must be the one who's hidden Pandora's Labyrinth of Deceit. This area is split into two levels, so just switch levels depending on how it attacks. Palutena: Though the goddess of darkness was defeated long ago... We obviously can't underestimate her powers. Blade: Balanced, with no specific weaknesses. Palutena: There are many enemies ahead! Pit: Urgh! Palutena: Hurry to the coliseum! Pit: Switches, huh? That probably means I should hit them! Pit: "Dark lord"? Seriously? Hasn't the dark-lord thing been done to death already? Palutena: It should give you some idea of the brutality he's capable of. The people are trying to contain him in his castle, but with little success. Palutena: But it's tight in there, so be careful. Plus, the Miracle of Flight is running out. Pit: Can you imagine trying to make it across these mountains by foot? Pit: Whoa-ho! Nice! Palutena: Let's return for now. This was just our first step in defeating Medusa. Palutena: There's no chance of getting in from above. You'll have to break through the front. Palutena: Medusa's venom knows no bounds. But I know you can stop her Underworld Army. Pit: I don't see the Hewdraw heads. Pit: Never...better... Palutena: I guess I just don't SEE the problem with a little levity. Palutena: Yes, he must've scrambled to build it after Medusa's resurrection. He's using this castle as a stronghold for Underworld monsters. Monsters designed to wreak havoc and sow sadness. Are you excited? Palutena: What is it? Palutena: Yes, he must've scrambled to build it after Medusa's resurrection. It's also being used as a portal to bring Underworld monsters to the surface. Monsters designed to wreak havoc and sow sadness. Are you excited? Pit: Yep. Perfect! Palutena: He's earned it. He's working for Medusa. Her forces are coming from HIS castle. A human army has gone to fight him, but they don't stand a chance. Palutena: The Underworld Army is invading Skyworld! Palutena: Medusa certainly is ambitious.
