The Witch's Hut is a recurring location in the Legend of Zelda series. It serves as the home to Syrup in the games it appears in. Players can 'pay to play' Witch's Hut from level 5 onwards, where they can choose to pay with crystals (which will need to be bought with real money) to unlock the Picture early, rather than waiting until they reach level 7 and unlock it for free, through normal game play. Witch's Hut was introduced during the Halloween Update. For the duration of the Halloween challenge, Pumpkin Lanterns were needed in addition to energy points to play Witch's Hut. Pumpkin Lanterns were given as rewards for every successful investigation for every picture, but not for playing puzzles. The Christmas Update (December 2013) removed Pumpkin Lanterns from the game and turned Witch's Hut into a regular game just requiring energy points to play. From the Diary: The Witch's hut is an adventure map structure in the Heroes of Might and Magic series. In Heroes II, Heroes III and Heroes V a player's hero can visit the hut to learn a secondary skill, but each hero can only visit it once. There is no battle, and no cost. The hero gets a basic skill taught to them, unless the hero has already learned the skill being taught. A hero can only gain this skill once, but any hero who visits camp receives the skill. In Heroes IV a player's hero can visit the hut to learn a . This building was available to build during the 2013 Halloween Event in exchange for collected resources.
