The Line was largely depleted in 2651 for the construction of Sanctuary. But in June of 3002, the Line was reconstructed as Clawed Fist Fleet tow vessels positioned the remains of numerous vessels, including Kretonian and Lem'ing warships, along the Parallax border. The rebuilding was accompanied by a notice that intruders would be destroyed. Vox Ulkakithar confirmed media reports of dozens of CFF vessels patrolling the Line for several days after the rebuilding. The continued security of the Line was demonstrated in August of 3003. The Qua vessel Starchaser was returning from a first contacts mission across the Multiverse Nexus when it accidentally passed too close to the Line; the ship was threatened with destruction but survived the encounter. Vox Ulkakithar announced in an emergency order on the 27th of that September that the Parallax, including the Nexus, was off-limits to all ships other than those of the Parallax. In August of 3005, as the CFF presence in Normalspace became practicically nonexistant, it was reported that the Line was being depleted.
