Henry Aaron "Old Hank" Winkler was an avid chess player and homeless American. His life was ended early as he was the thirteenth victim of the Dogtown Ripper. Detective Lisa Madigan championed the finding of Hank's murderer which helped lead to RoboCop uncovering evidence on his body that Cray Mallardo was the last person to have seen him alive. Dr. Mallardo took Old Hank's brain for use in his NeuroBrain computer. Hank's cybernetic brain couldn't handle the complexity of controlling MetroNet and died soon after having been brought online.
