rdfs:comment
Mary Anna Morrison Jackson (July 21, 1831 - March 24, 1915) was the second wife (and ultimately the widow of) of General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson. They married in 1857. They had two children. Their first, a daughter, died less than a month after she was born. Their second daughter, Julia, was born in 1862. After Jackson's death, Mary never remarried, and always wore mourning clothes. After Julia died in 1889, Mary raised her daughter's children. She was active in organizing reunions and rememberances of Confederate veterans until her own death in 1915.
